Hägerneholmsskolan is currently looking for an engaged music teacher for grades 4–9.

The Hägerneholm principal's area consists of Hägerneholmsskolan, Hägerneholms Preschool, and Trädgårdsstadens Preschool. The schools and preschools are led by a common principal and three deputy principals. We have close collaboration and operate from shared values, routines, and work together to create a supportive school environment where all students feel well, are included, and get the best possible conditions for learning and development.

Hägerneholmsskolan is a newly built school for grades F–9 that opened in the autumn term of 2019. It is surrounded by an inviting schoolyard with various activity areas, an artificial turf field, a sports hall, and green spaces.

About the role

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with the qualification to teach music in grades 4–9. The position also includes mentorship and guidance of teaching colleagues.

As a teacher here, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and developing teaching in close collaboration with students, colleagues, and school leadership. You work actively for an inclusive school where all students are given the opportunity to succeed and develop based on their prerequisites.

We are looking for you who:

• have teacher certification and are qualified to teach music for grades 4–9
• work both formatively and with language development in mind
• are well-acquainted with the steering documents and can translate these into learning that is understandable and meaningful for students
• use both digital tools and analog resources to create a diverse and engaging teaching environment
• view the student's entire study situation in your mentorship and collaborate with student health services where needed

You are structured, engaged, and clear in your teaching. You have a good cooperative climate with colleagues and actively contribute to the school's development. You plan and organize your work efficiently and create a safe and trusting classroom where students feel included. You vary your assessment methods and give students the opportunity to show their knowledge in different ways, based on their individual prerequisites.
