Do you want to be part of the launch and make a real difference in students' daily lives? Frillesåsskolan is looking for an engaged Student Coordinator for our Study Workshop in grades 4–6 – a new and significant initiative where you will work closely with students, create structure, and contribute to both learning and well-being in an inclusive school environment.

The role of Student Coordinator with us

At Frillesåsskolan, grades 4–6, we are preparing for the exciting launch of a special teaching group. In this group, students will receive instruction for part or all of their school day. The Study Workshop is currently being established, and you will play a key role in shaping and developing the operation together with certified teachers and other professionals.

We are now looking for a Student Coordinator who wants to help establish structures, create effective collaboration methods, and contribute to building a sustainable organization from the ground up. The role involves coordinating work between student health services, teachers, and guardians, as well as creating a consistent thread in students' development and transitions between stages.

The work involves actively supporting students in their learning, security, attendance, and structure during the school day. The assignment includes coordinating and following up on student interventions, promoting social interaction, and participating in teaching. You will also support students during transitions between different activities, for example, between lessons and between school and after-school care.

As a Student Coordinator, you work based on the school's governing documents in close collaboration with the school's various professions. Since the operation is in its startup phase, you will have a central role in establishing working methods and relationships. You work preventively and long-term with a focus on students' development, learning, and well-being.

Your profile

You have a strong commitment to students in need of special support and thrive in a coordinating and relationship-building role. You are good at collaborating and enjoy working with others to achieve common goals. At the same time, you are structured and have the ability to keep several parts of the work together.

You are a secure and flexible person who sees solutions and can adapt to different situations. You have a relational approach and are good at building trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You can work independently, take responsibility, and drive the work forward. We also look for someone with a clear student focus who actively works to create participation, motivation, and a meaningful school day for the students. You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, as this is required in daily work. Personal suitability is highly valued.

We are looking for you who has:

• A relevant behavioral science university degree within, for example, pedagogy, health, sociology, psychology, or other education that the employer deems equivalent
• Experience working with children and young people, preferably in a school environment
• Knowledge of meeting children and young people with NPD (Neurodevelopmental Disorders)

It is meritorious if you have:

• Experience working with students in need of special support
• Experience working in after-school care centers
• Experience working within the LSS (Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments)

Our offer and other information

We offer a permanent full-time position with a start date in August, according to agreement.
