About Åsedaskolan F-6

Åsedaskolan F-6 is located in a beautiful natural setting, close to forests, a lighted running track, an ice hall, and large green areas. The school has approximately 250 students, distributed across two parallel classes in each grade. We work in well-functioning teams with the student's best interests at heart and collaborate closely with Åsedaskolan 7-9, which is located directly adjacent.

An active student health team is on-site every week, including a school nurse, counselor, special needs pedagogue, special needs teacher, and principal. The school also has a safety team that works proactively to promote safety and a good study environment.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a certified teacher or someone whom the employer deems to have equivalent qualifications to teach grades 4–6. You will work in a team and collaborate closely with other teachers. Your task is to plan, conduct, and follow up on teaching in accordance with the school's governing documents. You will contribute to the students' knowledge development and create a safe and stimulating learning environment.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a certified teacher with the qualifications to teach grades 4–6.
• Has strong subject knowledge, didactic skills, and experience leading and organizing classroom work.
• Is well-versed in the school's governing documents and can use them to promote goal achievement.
• Is confident, positive, and solution-oriented.
• Is skilled at building relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians.
• Has experience with grading and is accustomed to working with digital learning tools.
• Has good collaboration skills and a professional approach.

Personal suitability will be given great weight.
