Welcome to Endre School! Endre School is a cozy F-6 school, located just over 10 minutes from Visby, where knowledge, security, study environment, and dedicated staff are a common thread throughout the operations. The school has approximately 80 students who are housed in large, spacious facilities next to a big, lovely schoolyard adjacent to the forest. The proximity to the forest and nature is used extensively for learning, play, and movement. Endre School and the after-school program (fritidshem) is a operation where staff work closely together, contributing to a positive and pleasant work environment. Here, we have an open atmosphere where everyone's ideas and opinions are a valuable addition to the operations.

The strength of the school is that everyone knows each other well, which creates security and allows us to give the students that little extra. Endre School is part of the Roma school district together with the schools Roma, Kräklingbo, Dalhem, and Vänge. Students from these schools are bussed to varying extents to Roma School and Dalhem School for instruction in several subjects.

Your responsibilities

As part of Endre School's pedagogical work team, you help create a meaningful and developing day for the children. You contribute to building an operation that stimulates and awakens students' curiosity for development and learning, but also offers rest and play. You are involved in planning, conducting, developing, and following up on teaching based on the needs of the children's group, the after-school program's mission according to Lgr 22, and the administration's quality work. You also actively contribute to safe, fun, and developing breaks. The role may also involve working in the classroom and supporting teaching when needed, for example, in connection with the absence of regular staff.

Instruction in the after-school program covers four knowledge areas: language and communication, creative and aesthetic knowledge forms, nature and society, and games, physical activities, and outdoor stay. You will work both in the classroom and at the after-school program. Opening and closing times for the after-school program are included in this position.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have a childcare education with good theoretical knowledge about children's development, learning, and care needs, as well as how to lead a children's group in pedagogical operations.

You should want to contribute your pedagogical knowledge to us. The work requires that you have a low-affective approach but can still set boundaries and meet children with special needs in a humble and professional manner. We are looking for you who are sensitive, curious, and development-oriented. You take initiative, find it easy to cooperate, and create good relationships with children, guardians, and colleagues. You master Swedish in speech and writing.
