About the position

As a personal assistant, you provide individually adapted support to a person with a disability in their daily life. The work is performed in the client's home and in other environments where the client is present. The tasks vary depending on the client's needs and can include personal care, support in daily routines, transfers, and accompaniment during activities and errands.

About the client

The assignment concerns a woman in her 50s living in Visby. The need is primarily on weekends, but there may sometimes be a need on weekdays as well, so we appreciate that you are flexible with working hours. The work can involve both longer and shorter shifts.

There is also an opportunity to work with several clients, either in the same area or in different locations around Gotland.

Qualifications

We believe that you, the applicant, live in or near Visby to have the opportunity to work even short shifts. You have a structured and efficient work style and like order and cleanliness. You are welcome to have an interest in planting and gardening, as well as liking cats, since there is a cat in the home. Meritorious is if you have experience from healthcare or are studying something within healthcare and want a part-time job linked to your studies.

We are looking for you who:

• Are responsible, responsive, and have a professional attitude
• Are respectful of the individual's integrity and self-determination
• Can work independently but also follow given routines
• Have experience from work within healthcare or are studying something within healthcare
• Have good knowledge of Swedish, both in speech and writing
• Have a driver's license (manual) and access to a personal car
• Have the possibility to work flexible hours
• Are not allergic to cats

Previous experience in personal assistance or USK training is meritorious, but personal suitability and attitude are most important. Out of respect for the client's self-determination and personal integrity, we are only seeking female assistants for this assignment.

Employment conditions

• Employment conditions according to collective agreement with Kommunal
• Individual salary setting, hourly wage as agreed

• Valid identification must be presented before the contract is signed
• Extract from the Police Register (for elderly or adults with disabilities) must be presented before employment
