We are now looking for personal assistants for a client living in northern Gotland, approx. 30 minutes from Visby.

About the job as a personal assistant

As a personal assistant, you work closely with a person with a disability in their daily life. You assist and support the person both in everyday life and during leisure time. Your workplace is wherever the client is, and your overall task is to assist the client so that they have the conditions to live the life they desire.

Job Responsibilities

I am now looking for a personal assistant for a role where you will make a real difference in my daily life.

As a personal assistant, you will work closely with me and help me with things that make it possible for me to live an independent life.

Your tasks may vary and adapt to daily needs, but include personal care, support with daily chores, and activities both inside and outside the home.

I have animals, so you must not be allergic. My interests are animals and nature; I spend a lot of time outdoors and enjoy going on outings. I have my own car, which the assistants drive.

We are looking for you who:

We are looking for someone who is responsible, calm, and self-assured. You are also receptive and quick to learn new tasks.

A driver's license and access to a car are necessary to commute to and from work. You must speak Swedish fluently. Previous experience in care and social services is an advantage.

At Särnmark, you will always receive an introduction at the client's home as well as access to training regarding the role of a personal assistant.

About the employment

The employment is for a fixed term as long as the assistance assignment lasts, and the pay structure is hourly wages. Working hours vary based on the client's needs.

The schedule covers 80% of full-time hours.

Salary and other terms of employment are according to the collective agreement for Personal Assistance, Vårdföretagarna - Kommunal.
