The Preschool and Primary School Administration is one of Varberg Municipality's largest administrations with nearly 2,200 employees. Within our areas of operation – preschool, primary school, and child and student health services – we are here for children and students – together we shape the future.

Lindberg School is located in a rural setting, 8 km northeast of the central town of Varberg. The school accommodates 450 students in grades Pre-3 (F-3). The schoolyard offers opportunities for play and movement, and the school also uses nearby areas for outdoor life and outdoor pedagogy.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a teacher with us, you play a central role in creating a safe, developmental, and motivating environment where we together create the best possible meeting for learning. By planning, implementing, and following up on your teaching, you provide students with the prerequisites to grow based on their unique needs and goals.

Main responsibilities:

• Teaching in grades Pre-3 (F-3).
• Plan, lead, and evaluate teaching based on governing documents and selected didactic strategies.
• Meet each student in their knowledge progression and strengthen their creativity, curiosity, and self-confidence through professional leadership.
• Develop stimulating learning environments that encourage learning, participation, and student influence.
• Work for a holistic view of the student's school day through close collaboration with colleagues and guardians.
• Participate actively in the school's systematic quality work and contribute to a formative approach in the pedagogical everyday life.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are a secure pedagogical leader who, with warmth and clarity, provides guidance and creates the structure required for a safe learning environment. You are skilled at building relationships and create trusting contacts with both students and guardians. You have a good feel for the group, are flexible, have didactic ability, and adapt your methods based on students' different needs, knowledge progression, and daily condition.

We are looking for you who:

• Have teacher certification with eligibility for teaching in grades Pre-3 (F-3).
• Have the ability to base your teaching on proven experience and scientific foundation.
• Show skill in planning and following up on the operation systematically based on given frameworks.
• Have good assessment ability to follow up on students' development and give constructive feedback.
• Possess clear planning ability to structure lessons and work areas.
