About the job

We are looking for an engaged and qualified childcare worker (barnskötare), preferably with a focus on early childhood pedagogy. The preschool operates as a staff cooperative where 4 educators sit on the board and the rest of the educators are employed. We are also a licensed I Ur och Skur preschool.

About the preschool

Outdoor pedagogy is at the center of our work. We work according to the I Ur och Skur methodology, where nature is a natural part of the children's daily lives. Our child groups consist of children aged 1–5 years. Each work team consists of two preschool teachers, two childcare workers, and one preschool assistant. We value close collaboration between educators, children, and guardians.

Responsibilities

As a childcare worker with us, you will:

• Work with childcare according to regulatory documents and I Ur och Skur methods.
• Participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the activities.
• Contribute to local maintenance/cleaning.
• Collaborate with colleagues in an engaged and responsive work team.
• Cooperate with guardians on our collaboration days/evenings.
• Keep the child in focus and see the individual and their needs.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a qualified childcare worker with a focus on early childhood pedagogy, as we highly value pedagogical work.
• Has a good and professional approach.
• Is a co-researching educator who can challenge the children in everyday life through play and imagination.
• Is driven by outdoor pedagogy and wants to work in accordance with I Ur och Skur.
• Wants to help drive thematic work towards our focus goals.
• Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

• You have the ability to meet the children individually and create trusting relationships with all children as well as with guardians.

We place great importance on your personal qualities and ability to communicate with others involved in the preschool's daily life. You participate in the work team's reflection every week and are expected to have insight into the systematic quality work.
