The role of Support Assistant with us

The group home in Västra Villastaden is a traditional group home with a high-functioning target group where the tenants' support needs vary. The work covers everything from motivational work and social support to care and delegated health and medical interventions. As a support assistant, you provide support in daily chores and leisure activities, motivate and guide in daily life, and work with social documentation and implementation plans. The role also includes contact person duties and sleeping on-call shifts. The operations work based on low-affective handling, AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication), and structured pedagogy.

Your profile

As a person, you are accommodating in your interactions and attentive to your surroundings. You create new contacts as well as maintain your current work relationships. You take responsibility, drive your work forward, deliver results, and prioritize your work efficiently. You see possibilities in changes, take initiative, and propose new approaches to work-related issues. You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, as this is required in daily work. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.

We are looking for you who:

• have relevant education for the target group, for example, support assistant, assistant nurse, or other education that the employer deems equivalent.

It is meritorious:

• if you have experience working with the target group.

Our offer and other information

We offer a permanent full-time position with a start date as agreed.

Within the Department of Individual & Family Care, all employees within Housing with Special Service and Support at Home are employed on a full-time basis but have the opportunity to reduce to a desired degree of employment based on operational needs.
