Falkungen Preschool is a parent cooperative that has been operating in Falkenberg for over 30 years. In our activities, we strive for JOY, SECURITY, and DEVELOPMENT, and we believe that a positive approach is crucial. We believe in the competent child and the children's participation, which shapes our projects and learning environments.

We are a two-department preschool with age-separated sections located in Hjortsberg. The proximity to the sea, the forest, and the city gives us excellent opportunities to conduct pedagogical activities in our immediate surroundings.

About the Job

As an early childhood educator or preschool teacher at our facility, you are one of the most important adults in the children's lives. You ensure that their day at preschool is both fun, secure, and educational. We offer a work environment where your competence and commitment are valued. Together with your colleagues in the work team, you create an environment that sees and validates each child's potential.

Main Responsibilities:

• Create a secure and inspiring daily routine where every child is met with competence and warmth, and where you actively contribute to an environment where everyone feels included.
• Participate in pedagogical work and use pedagogical documentation to follow the children's learning processes.
• Build trusting relationships with the children's guardians, working together to create the best conditions for the child's development and needs at preschool.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for you who have a preschool teacher education or equivalent experience from working in a preschool. You are positive, active, and confident in your role as an early childhood educator/pedagogue. You take initiative and can work both independently and collaboratively with colleagues. In your approach, you are flexible based on the children's needs and development, and you take responsibility for creating good relationships with children, guardians, and colleagues.

About the Employment

Employment Type: Fixed-term position at 80%.
Duration: Until June 30, 2030.
Salary: According to collective agreement.
