The woman lives with an acquired brain injury and has recently been granted personal assistance. Here you have a unique opportunity to be involved from the start and create something important: a safe, meaningful, and content-rich daily life based on her needs, wishes, and personality.

As a personal assistant, you support her in daily life with personal care, transfers, household chores, and communication. You help with structure and planning when her functional limitations set boundaries. Equally important is your ability to be present and empathetic.

The client does not communicate verbally but expresses herself through body language and facial expressions. This means you need to speak very good Swedish, be attentive, and have a genuine desire to understand.

You will become an important part of creating quality of life for her. Not only through the practical aspects, but by contributing with security, engagement, and initiative.

She appreciates animals, nature, and creative creation. There is room for you to contribute ideas, come up with activities, and add a golden touch to life. An adapted car is available for use during excursions.

Work shifts are scheduled for day, evening, night (with on-call duty), and weekends. The positions are part-time or full-time with a planned start immediately. Introduction and training will take place as agreed, so that you get the opportunity to get to know her, her needs, and the assistive devices used.

The workplace is located on a farm outside the town center, which means a driver's license and access to a car are required.

The client is looking for you who:

• is a woman

• has a manual B-driver's license and access to a car

• has experience as a personal assistant or similar profession

• has very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

• tolerates fur animals and likes animals

• is a non-smoker

• has a positive attitude and a twinkle in the eye

• is loyal and takes initiative based on the client's needs

• can work flexible hours: day, evening, night, and weekends

Employment type: For as long as the assistance assignment lasts

Scope: Full-time or part-time

Working hours: Varied times in the schedule. Day, evening, night (with on-call duty), and weekends.

Start date: Immediately/July

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the last application date. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

In the event of employment, you must be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden, by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EEA or alternatively a valid work permit.
