The Social Services Department is responsible for providing support, care, and assistance to people at different stages of life. We work based on the individual's needs and offer interventions based on several laws, including the Social Services Act (SoL), the Act on Support and Service for Certain Persons with Functional Impairments (LSS), and the Health and Medical Services Act.

This can involve giving older people a secure and meaningful daily life, supporting people with disabilities, or being there for children, young people, and adults in vulnerable life situations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for an experienced social secretary who can meet our clients and play a guiding role in our reception.

The role includes among other things:

• Provide good treatment and good service to the clients and visitors who come to us
• Guide the clients who visit us, both internally and to external parties
• Provide support/guidance in the practical handling of re-applications for economic assistance, assist in searching for information on the computer
• Work with certain economic processes and orders
• Provide support to social secretaries in certain tasks
• Document certain tasks in the business system
• Contribute to the development and quality assurance of the work in the reception

QUALIFICATIONS

We would like you, as an applicant for the position, to have broad and good knowledge of Social Services, but also knowledge of society as a whole. The work requires that you are structured, have very good interpersonal skills and a high degree of service, and are accustomed to meeting the target groups of Social Services. The composition of tasks requires that you are flexible and solution-focused.

We also see that you have:

• A degree in Social Work or other higher education that the employer considers equivalent. Social Law is a requirement.
• Experience of exercising authority within social services
• Good Swedish in speech and writing

Salary form: Monthly salary.
Employment type: Permanent employment.
Duration: Start date: 2026-09-01. Start date according to agreement.
