About Ågrenska

Ågrenska is a unique, developmental meeting place and a national competence centre. We operate various activities from a holistic perspective for children, young people, and adults with disabilities, their relatives, and professionals. Ågrenska is owned by the Ågrenska Foundation, a non-profit organization. Who will you work with?

You will be working with a cheerful, social, and active young man who lives in his own apartment. He loves movement and activities, as well as having his days planned. Together with his assistants, he goes on excursions, both on foot and by car. He trains, cycles, bakes, does carpentry, and listens to music, which is a central part of his life.

You will be a support for him at home, at his workplace within Daily Activities, and during various activities. He understands spoken language but does not speak himself, instead communicating clearly through body language. You will work to support his self-determination and strengthen his self-esteem by being pedagogical. The assistants are a major part of his daily life, so you will work closely and together as a team.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who is empathetic and perceptive, preferably with experience in low-arousal approaches. You are proactive and have a good ability to collaborate. You exude security and are grounded in the value of every individual's unique and equal worth. You are flexible regarding working hours and the content of the work. You enjoy being active and moving around. Most importantly, you are committed and understand the significance of living an active and as rich a life as possible. Personal suitability is crucial.

We would appreciate it if you have experience in wellness, youth leadership, student assistance, or other motivation-enhancing work.

Scope of the position

We are looking for someone who wants to work as a summer substitute. You will work approximately 2–3 shifts/week between weeks 28–34. You will primarily work day shifts on weekdays, between 10:00–18:00.
