About the position

Personal assistance is a measure under the LSS Act (Act concerning Support and Service for Certain Functionally Disabled People). In your role as a personal assistant, you will primarily help the client with everything that arises in daily life as well as with basic needs. Your work involves safeguarding the client's self-determination and integrity, and contributing to a smooth daily routine. Each assistance assignment is uniquely adapted to the client's life, so tasks may vary depending on the workplace.

The client is a woman in her 50s living in Tvååker. The client's individual needs dictate the workday, and the work may include help with mobility, personal care, training and communication, as well as household chores and activities in and outside the home.

Who are you?

The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is sensitive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good personal chemistry between you and the client.

Requirements for the position:

• Good knowledge of Swedish
• Valid driver's license (Category B) and access to a car to commute to work
• Swimming proficiency
• Allergy-friendly to pets (tolerates fur-bearing animals)
• Active and social

Merits for the position:

• Experience in similar work
• Share the client's interests in gardening, training, and swimming

Personal suitability will be given great weight.

Working hours, degree of employment, and salary

The current form of employment is "for as long as the assistance assignment lasts" with an employment degree of approximately 60%. Working hours are scheduled during daytime on weekdays and one weekend per month.

Monday–Thursday 08:00–13:00 and one weekend per month (exact working hours not yet set).

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement, and other benefits are paid according to the collective agreement.

Start date according to agreement.
