Do you want a key role where you make a difference every day? As a Support Pedagogue here, you will combine user-oriented work with responsibility for quality and development. You support personal assistants in their work, drive improvement initiatives, and serve as a vital link between the unit manager, staff, and other actors involved in the user's care. Together, we create the conditions for safe and person-centered assistance with the user's needs at the forefront.

The Role of Support Pedagogue

Personal assistance is a personalized support granted to individuals with disabilities to help with daily living. The aim of this support is to strengthen the individual's ability to live an independent and self-determined life.

As a Support Pedagogue, you play a central role in the operations, with specific responsibility for development, quality, and user focus. You utilize your advanced pedagogical competence to ensure that the support provided to each individual maintains high quality and is carried out in accordance with current legislation.

You serve as a pedagogical role model and act as a bridge in user-oriented work. In close collaboration with the unit manager, you plan and lead operational meetings, contribute to prioritization, and drive systematic quality work forward. Part of the assignment involves securing the quality of social documentation and following up on implementation plans, as well as contributing a holistic perspective through environmental scanning and development work.

You are also part of the municipality's Support Pedagogue network, which meets a few times a year – a forum for sharing experiences, professional development, and joint quality improvement.

Your Profile

You are friendly and responsive in your interactions and find it easy to collaborate with others. You build new contacts and maintain existing professional relationships. You take responsibility for your work, drive it forward, and deliver results. You plan and prioritize your work efficiently. You are open to change, take initiative, and contribute new ideas to the work. You express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, as this is required in daily operations. Personal suitability will be given great weight.

We are looking for someone who has:

• A degree in Support Pedagogy or equivalent education relevant to the target group
• A valid driver's license (Category B)

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience working with the target group
• Experience with the methods we use; low-affective approach, alternative and augmentative communication (AAC), clarifying pedagogy, and motivational interviewing.
• Good documented knowledge of IBIC

Our Offer and Other Information

We offer a permanent full-time position, starting as agreed.

You will be based at City Hall, where we work in an activity-based manner.

Working hours are 40 hours per week, with public holidays off.
