Lantmannavägens bostad med särskild service is an LSS (Act for Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) residential facility for children and young people with disabilities. Here, we work to create an environment where inclusion, security, and independence are the foundation of everything we do.

The facility is located in a rural area. If you do not live nearby, you must have a driver's license and access to a car.

In our operations, we use a secure and low-affective approach, creating stability and predictability for the children, even during nighttime hours.

Job Responsibilities

As a support assistant, you work to provide pedagogical, social, and practical support to individuals with disabilities in their daily lives. The goal is to strengthen the individual's independence, quality of life, and participation in society.

We are looking for someone who thrives in a varied daily routine, where interaction, structure, and engagement are central.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Supporting the individual in daily life based on the implementation plan
• Motivating and creating structure around activities, health, and social interaction
• Collaborating with relatives, colleagues, and other stakeholders
• Documenting interventions in digital systems according to current routines
• Working from a low-affective approach with the individual's needs in focus

The work is scheduled during daytime, evenings, and weekends, depending on the needs of the operation.

Qualifications

You who apply have a genuine interest in working with people and a good ability to build trust and relationships. You are secure, sensitive, and have the ability to adapt your approach to the needs and conditions of different individuals.

We also look for you to have:

• A high school education within healthcare and social care or child and youth activities, or alternatively other education that the employer considers equivalent, such as a 2-year folk high school education as a support assistant at the high school level.
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
• A B-category driver's license may be required depending on the operation.

This position requires a driver's license for both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
