We are now looking for two new, reliable night assistants for a young man living in Söndrum. Initially for 3-6 months, with a high chance of a permanent contract. Approximately 35 hours per week, with shifts currently scheduled from 21:00 to 07:30, with some variation.

He is a happy, charming, and kind young man who likes nice clothes, playing PlayStation, and keeping the farm tidy. He has a cerebral palsy (CP) and therefore needs assistance from his assistants around the clock. The assistants are his arms, legs, and voice. He communicates clearly using an eye-tracking computer and body language, so you will quickly learn to understand what he wants and thinks.

The family often goes on various day trips. A few times a year, they also go on longer trips, e.g., ski holidays in the mountains or to Legoland. Since the assistants travel with them on these trips, it is a requirement that you are able to be away from home for about 1 week.

As the young man has double assistance, all waking hours will be worked together with a colleague. Therefore, it is important that you enjoy close collaboration with your colleagues. He has a wonderful group of people who have fun together both at and outside of work.

We are looking for you who are positive, adapt easily to different social situations, and thrive in an active and varied job where you will both give and receive a lot of joy. You should not have any physical limitations as the job involves lifting and helping with mobility. You must also be able to refrain from smoking and strong scents before and during your shifts.

The work is scheduled at night with double assistance. We have approximately 2-3 weeks of introduction so that you will have plenty of time to learn the job. You will also be offered training in e.g., AAC/eye-tracking computer.
