Do you want meaningful work where you make a difference every day? We are currently looking for you who want to be a personal assistant to a lovely and active 14-year-old who lives with their parents outside of Laholm. To get to the workplace, you must have access to a car.

What does this position involve?

The position is part-time, and working hours are weekday evenings and every other weekend. During school holidays, there is an opportunity to work during daytime. The work takes place primarily at home, alternating weeks in Mellbystrand and Våxtorp.

About the client

The client is a sporty boy who uses a wheelchair and needs support in daily life with personal care, communication, and activities. He communicates partially by speech but also uses an eye-tracking computer and a communication board to facilitate conversation.

You will support him with his interests, which include ice hockey, video games, and fun activities. On weekdays, you help him get started with his homework.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is cheerful, responsible, and has a spark in their eye. You are confident in interactions with children and enjoy contributing to both development and everyday joy.

We would like you to:

• be energetic, positive, and creative
• have experience working as a personal assistant or with children
• be patient and a good listener
• be comfortable around pets
• have good computer skills
• be a non-smoker
• have excellent knowledge of Swedish, especially spoken
• have a Category B driver's license and access to a car (this is a requirement)

Additional information

Employment type: As long as the assistance assignment lasts

Scope: Part-time

Working hours: Weekday shifts start at 15:30 or 16:00 and end at 21:45 or 22:00. On Saturdays, working hours are 09:00-22:00, and on Sundays 09:00-19:00. (Working hours change during the summer holiday)

Start date: Immediately

We offer individual salary setting and have collective agreements. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Personal suitability will be given great weight.

In the event of employment, you must be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden, by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EEA or a valid work permit.
