The Preschool and Primary School Administration is one of Varberg Municipality's largest administrations with nearly 2,200 employees. Within our areas of operation – preschool, primary school, and child/student health services – we are here for children and students. Together, we shape the future.

Vidhögeskolan is a grades F-9 school with approximately 550 students and 85 staff members. The school is located in the northern part of the municipality, right in the community of Veddige, with good transport links to both Varberg and the surrounding municipalities.

Our catchment area covers a large geographical region, and we receive students from Deromeskolan in grade 4. All classes have home classrooms with associated group rooms, and there are well-equipped special classrooms for practical/aesthetic subjects. We also have Flex operations at the school. There are also good opportunities in the subject of sports as we have access to various sports halls, are close to an ice rink, and have an outdoor environment that promotes movement.

At our school, we believe it is important to have safety and well-being for both students and staff, and the students at the school have access to student health services staff every day of the week. Development work that has been prioritized and is ongoing at the school includes health and well-being, as well as leadership and stimulation. RESPONSIBILITIES

As a teacher with us, you play a central role in creating a safe, developmental, and motivating environment where we together create the best possible meeting for learning. By planning, implementing, and following up on your teaching, you provide students with the conditions to grow based on their unique needs and goals.

Main responsibilities:

• Teaching our students in grades F-3, largely connected to the school's flex unit.
• Plan, lead, and evaluate teaching based on steering documents and selected didactic strategies.
• Meet each student in their knowledge progression and strengthen their creativity, curiosity, and self-confidence through professional leadership.
• Develop stimulating learning environments that encourage learning, participation, and student influence.
• Promote a holistic view of the student's school day through close collaboration with colleagues and guardians.
• Participate actively in the school's systematic quality work and contribute to a formative approach in the pedagogical everyday life.
• Work with continuous dialogue with guardians, other teachers, and student health services (EHT).

QUALIFICATIONS

You are a secure pedagogical leader who, with warmth and clarity, provides guidance and creates the structure required for a safe learning environment. For you, collaboration with colleagues is a prerequisite for success; you collaborate without ego to develop the operation together with others.

You are skilled at building relationships and creating trusting contacts with both students and guardians. You have a good feel for the group, are flexible, have didactic ability, and adapt your methods based on students' different needs, knowledge progression, and daily condition.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a teaching license with eligibility for teaching in all subjects for grades F-3.
• Has the ability to base your teaching on proven experience and scientific foundation.
• Demonstrates skill in planning and following up on the operation systematically based on given frameworks.
• Has good assessment ability to follow up on students' development and give constructive feedback.
• Has clear planning ability to structure lessons and work areas.
• Has good knowledge regarding NPF (Neurodevelopmental Disorders) and adapting the learning environment based on this.
• We prefer applicants with knowledge of scheduling in Skola 24.
