Östersund Waldorf School is a non-profit Waldorf school, beautifully located in two large stone buildings on Frösö Strand. The school is the oldest independent school in Östersund. We have just over 100 students in grades F-9 and a desire to grow.
We are looking for you who are passionate about teaching and want to develop your pedagogy and yourself together with a team of around 20 colleagues.
Community and participation are important to us. The engagement of both employees and parents is a central part of our operations. Employees and parents are shareholders in the school, elect the school board, and participate in the school's development work through the staff collegium and the school's parent association.
We follow the national curriculum, Lgr22, but also draw support from the Waldorf pedagogical curriculum A Path to Freedom.
Working at a small school means closeness to decision-making and involvement, but also a greater degree of responsibility and flexibility.
