Located in the Väsjö area, near the slalom slopes, is Sollentuna's newest primary school. The school opened in August 2025 and has capacity for 270 students from preschool class to year 6. For the autumn term 2026, the school is expected to have approximately 125 students from preschool class to year 5. The school has an outdoor profile and will also work with the Green Flag certification from the upcoming academic year.

Job Responsibilities

As a preschool class teacher at Väsjöskolan, you, together with your colleagues, hold the pedagogical responsibility for the students' first school year. You plan, implement, and evaluate teaching based on the goals of the curriculum and work systematically with pedagogical documentation to follow the students' development.

You have a strong interest in early literacy and numeracy development, and you use your subject competence to create a safe, stimulating, and playful learning environment. You vary teaching methods and work goal-oriented to spark curiosity and support student participation and progression.

You build good relationships with students and colleagues and maintain close dialogue with guardians. You actively participate in the work team's joint planning, routines, and development work, contributing to a holistic approach where safety, structure, and student learning are at the center.

Väsjöskolan's proximity to nature gives you the opportunity to use the outdoor environment as a natural and integrated part of teaching.

Qualifications

You are a confident and clear teacher who creates structure, calm, and good routines in the operations. You are well-versed in the curriculum and work systematically with both teaching and documentation.

You have a good ability to meet students at different levels and adapt teaching to their needs. You thrive in close collaboration with colleagues and contribute actively to the work team's joint efforts. You communicate in a professional and respectful manner with both students and guardians and have a warm, relationship-building approach.

Requirements

• Licensed teacher with eligibility to teach in preschool class.
• Eligibility in Swedish and Mathematics.

Merits

• Experience working in preschool class.
• Eligibility in Swedish as a Second Language.
• Experience working with outdoor pedagogy.

This is a 100% substitute position (covering a teacher's leave) and is permanent, starting in August 2026.
