The Child and Education Administration in Vimmerby Municipality is responsible for all pedagogical activities, from preschool to university level, and is also responsible for Swedish for Immigrants (SFI) and civic orientation for newly arrived residents. Our common goal is that the children and young people of Vimmerby Municipality should get the best conditions to meet the future and develop into creative, curious, and secure individuals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a teacher, you, together with your colleagues, are responsible for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the pedagogical work at your workplace. You are well-versed in the Swedish National Agency for Education's curriculum for compulsory school and are accustomed to working with current goals and quality standards within the compulsory school's operations. You are a good role model and follow the norms and values that the compulsory school's curriculum sets, contributing to carrying out and fulfilling the compulsory school's mission with high quality. Your task is to promote each student's learning and development, as well as to create the best conditions for students, guardians, and colleagues to thrive and feel secure in the school's operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with the eligibility to teach in grades F-6 (Preschool class to Grade 6).

To succeed and thrive in the role, we see that you are a secure and stable leader who works to create motivation, engagement, and participation among both students and colleagues. You have a good understanding of people's differences and relate to others in an open and listening manner both in your teaching and in the school's daily life. You thereby contribute to creating an open and non-hierarchical collaborative climate where questions and potential challenges can be solved in a constructive way and where everyone takes a shared responsibility to achieve set goals. This approach means that you easily create good and trusting relationships with both students, guardians, and colleagues.

Furthermore, we see that you are a responsible person who is secure in planning and structuring your own work based on current goals and quality standards within the compulsory school's operations. At the same time, we value innovative thinking in the operations and would like you to be a person who brings ideas and new thoughts that you also put into practice to contribute to the development of both the daily work and the operations as a whole.

Employment type: Permanent position.
