The Emergency Department at Falu Hospital is tasked with providing specialized medical care for citizens who are acutely ill or injured. This covers seven different medical specialist areas, 24/7. We work with patients within surgery, medicine, cardiology, infection, orthopedics, gynecology, and pediatrics.

We are a large group of varying ages who enjoy working at our workplace. We are now looking for perhaps you to become our new colleague!

Here at the Emergency Clinic in Falun, the main task is to document for the seven clinics: Medicine, Orthopedics, Surgery, Pediatrics, Cardiology, Infection, and Gynecology, so we have very varied documentation tasks! We have been working in the medical record system Cosmic for some time now. We also staff the reception together with nurses. In the reception, we answer the phone, handle patient inquiries, manage cash and invoicing, and perform many other administrative tasks. We have all been new here once, and at the emergency department, you will receive a secure and thorough introduction to the operations.

If you are the one we are looking for, you have a positive attitude towards work, enjoy variation in your documentation tasks, and like working both individually and in a team. We staff weekdays from 7 AM to 12 AM and weekends from 8 AM to 12 AM. This allows for flexibility in your preferences for evening or day shifts, whatever suits you best. Weekend duty is approximately every third weekend.

Requirements

• Meet one of the following educational requirements:
• Medical Secretary Program (120 credits)
• Healthcare Administration Program (180 credits)
• Vocational Higher Education (400 points)
• 1-year post-secondary healthcare documentation education
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language
• Good knowledge of medical terminology

Meritorious if you:

• Have previously worked in Cosmic.
• Have previously worked in an emergency department.
