Do you want to work together with curious students, engaged colleagues, and school leadership? If so, you are welcome to join us at Loviselundsskolan. We are an intercultural F-6 school (grades 0-6) in a multicultural area, including a special needs school, with a total of approximately 380 students. The school is surrounded by beautiful natural areas and is located close to the metro station at Hässelby Gård.
The school is divided into several buildings around one large and one smaller schoolyard, both leading to good learning environments.
Your role
We are looking for a teacher who will teach Swedish (Sv) and Social Studies (So) in grade 5.
You will be part of a working group and a subject group where you collaborate with colleagues and are an important part of collegial learning to create new and in-depth knowledge.
As a teacher, you are responsible for planning, teaching, documentation, assessment, and evaluation of the classes you teach.
Your qualifications and experience
We are looking for you who have high expectations for students' goal achievement, good pedagogical insight, and are clear and engaged to bring out the best in students. You who apply:
- Are a certified teacher with eligibility in the subjects Swedish and Social Studies.
- Have at least some years of documented experience in the teaching profession.
- Have experience with digital working methods as an enhancement in teaching.
You have a good ability to design teaching in accordance with curricula, subject plans, and current knowledge requirements. You take responsibility for and have insight into students' results and needs, and structure and adapt your teaching so that a safe and adequate learning environment is created. You involve the student in the planning and develop the student's ability to learn, both independently and together with others.
You are secure, stable, have self-insight, and are a clear leader in the classroom. You value and create good conditions for collaboration and build good relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. You plan, organize, prioritize, and analyze your lesson structure as well as other tasks included in your role in an effective way.
