Nytorpsskolan in Rönninge is a comprehensive school (grades F-9) with approximately 300 students and 45 employees. We are located right in the middle of a residential area, close to forests and lakes. It is easy to get here by public transport, by car, or on a pleasant walk from the commuter train. We make frequent use of our beautiful local environment; in our outdoor pedagogy and at the leisure center for the younger students, and during outdoor and activity days for the older students.

About the Workplace

We are looking for you who want to work at a small school where relationships, safety, and collaboration are important parts of everyday life. Here, we work closely together and help each other find solutions that work for the students and the operations.

The position is divided between teaching Spanish and working in our Studio. The Spanish teaching covers grades 6–9, with one class in each grade. The Studio is also aimed at students in grades 6–9 who need support, structure, and adjustments in their school day.

Since we are a small school, we need to be flexible, and the assignment may sometimes be shaped based on the students' needs and the conditions of the operations. We offer a workplace where you get to be close to the students' development and where your work makes a difference. You will become part of a dedicated staff group with short lines of communication and the opportunity to contribute to the further development of the Studio operations.

Job Description

The position involves teaching Spanish to students in grades 6–9 as well as working in our Studio operations.

In the role of Spanish teacher, you are responsible for the planning, implementation, and follow-up of the teaching. You work to create a safe and stimulating learning environment where students are given the opportunity to develop based on their prerequisites.

Work in the Studio involves providing support to students who need a smaller setting or extra adjustments during the school day. The assignment is about creating clarity, structure, and safety for the students. The work is done in close collaboration with teaching teachers, work teams, and student health services, and is shaped based on the students' needs.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified Spanish teacher for lower secondary school. You are confident in meetings with students and have clear and relational leadership. You enjoy collaborating with colleagues, work teams, and student health services, and have the ability to build good relationships with both students and guardians.

You need to enjoy both teaching languages and working supportively in smaller settings. Experience of special needs support, accessible learning environments, or work in smaller teaching groups is meritorious.

Terms of Employment

Employment percentage: 100%, divided into 50% Spanish and 50% Studio.

Employment type: Permanent position, holiday service. Probationary period may apply.

Start date: August 10th or as agreed.
