Borås Municipality is looking for several summer substitutes and hourly substitutes within personal assistance. This is perfect for you who are studying, want to combine it with other work, are a pensioner, or for other reasons want to work during the summer.

Since we have employment needs with several of our customers, the needs and conditions vary. Working hours can be varying and scheduled Monday-Sunday, consisting of day, evening, and/or night shifts, and in some cases, 24-hour shifts. Previous experience is desirable, relevant education, as well as a driver's license and access to a car are not requirements but are meritorious.

Personal Assistant - What does it involve?

Working as a personal assistant is varied and can vary greatly from day to day. It also means having a meaningful job where you help another human being with the things in everyday life that many take for granted. This can include, for example, dressing oneself, cooking, taking a walk, or other things that are primary for the everyday life to function at all. As a personal assistant, you need to have empathy and respect for the person you work for. The profession places high demands on flexibility, responsibility, and engagement. Your ability to work based on the customer's focus and wishes is crucial for your suitability as a personal assistant.

You do not need long experience – the most important thing is that you are perceptive, have the right attitude, engagement, and that the personal chemistry between you and the customer works.
