Responsibilities

As a medical secretary at Vårdcentral Orsa, you have a central and significant role where you handle various administrative tasks, including reception duties and assignments related to digital technology. The work requires flexibility and the ability to switch between different tasks, always focusing on patient needs and accessible care.

You will naturally receive an introduction tailored to your needs, alongside an experienced colleague, to ensure you feel secure in your role. We offer varied work in a department with a broad scope, dedicated colleagues, and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are educated as a medical secretary with one of the following educations:

  • Medical Secretary Program, 120 hp
  • Healthcare Administration Program, 180 hp
  • Medical Secretary, Vocational Higher Education (YH) 400 credits
  • 1-year post-secondary healthcare documentation education

Personal qualities:

You have a professional and confident manner of dealing with people and understand the importance of patient proximity even in administrative processes. Naturally, you actively contribute to a good work climate. As a person, you are positive and driven, service-oriented, flexible, and take responsibility for your tasks. You enjoy working both independently and in a team, have good communication skills, and can handle periods of high tempo.

Good IT skills and an interest in digital development are seen as important assets in the role. There are good opportunities for further development here.
