Your Responsibilities

We are looking for a certified primary school teacher with qualifications to teach grades F-3 (Preschool Class to Grade 3) at Bäckagårdsskolan.

You are flexible, collaborative, and dedicated to your work. You are willing to try new approaches to continuously strive to improve your teaching. You have a holistic perspective on student development and plan your teaching to ensure all students are included. Your pedagogical role often requires ingenuity, creativity, and flexibility, using strategies to promote student motivation, participation, and influence. You are a clear leader who creates good learning environments and relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.

As a teacher, you contribute to developing the school's pedagogical activities. You are a clear and structured leader in the classroom with good pedagogical skills. You have high expectations for students and can motivate them to achieve good results in their schoolwork by clarifying goals and knowledge requirements.

You collaborate easily and see the work team as an asset. Together with your team, you plan, implement, evaluate, and develop teaching based on the school's steering documents and goals. The role also requires collaboration with other colleagues at the school. You should enjoy working in teams and with students, and you find it fun, inspiring, and important to engage in development work with students, within the team, and preferably across the whole school. You have an inclusive approach and build good relationships with students, other school staff, the student health team, and guardians.

Although collaboration with colleagues is important, you must also be able to plan and prioritize your work independently. The role as a teacher requires a good ability to analyze the child's needs and the ability to use methodology well adapted to the individual student and the group.

If you are offered employment within the Child and Youth Administration, you are required to present a certificate of no objections from the Police's criminal record register for work in schools/preschools. The certificate is free of charge and takes approximately 2-3 weeks for the police to process. Therefore, order it in good time!
