We are looking for a certified teacher in Natural Sciences (grades 7–9) to join us at Eketånga Montessori School!

We are seeking someone who is engaged in their pedagogical mission, wants to take responsibility for our school as a whole, and is passionate about systematically developing our operations together with colleagues based on both regulatory documents and our development goals. You have an open mind regarding teaching and view your own teaching from the perspective of research and proven experience to challenge both yourself and your colleagues. You create a creative learning environment where students are motivated and feel a desire to learn. You have strong relational skills and build professional trust with students, guardians, and colleagues. You work in close collaboration with your colleagues and are open to new thoughts and ideas.

The duties are varied and challenging, requiring your competence, relationship-building skills, and ability to connect with our students.

Your experience:

We are looking for someone who currently works as a teacher in Natural Sciences and is familiar with the regulatory documents. You are confident in your work and the responsibility for your subject, your materials, and the self-control required for this.

You adapt your teaching based on the students' needs, interests, and experiences. In your teaching, students have influence and thus the opportunity to impact their own learning. You are engaged and enjoy influencing and driving development work at the school.

About us:

Eketånga Montessori School is an independent preschool and school located in Söndrum, Halmstad Municipality. The school is run as a non-profit association and was founded in 1992. Our operations consist of a preschool, preschool class, after-school center, and primary school for grades 1–9. We have 22 preschool children and up to 250 students at the school, of which just over 90 attend the school's after-school center.
