We are looking for a teacher to cover a temporary position from the start of the autumn term until the autumn break. As a teacher at Björkestaskolan for grades 1–3, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating students' learning, as well as acting as a mentor. We expect you to feel confident in all different teaching situations. You build good relationships with both students and guardians, based on trust and respect. You are aware of your own impact on students' learning. Based on student results, research, and proven experience, you monitor the quality of teaching, reflect, and evaluate with the aim of developing the teaching. You provide forward-looking feedback to students with the aim of development and support students according to their individual needs. You collaborate with colleagues to develop yourself, your teaching, and the school's pedagogical work.

Björkestaskolan is a preschool to grade 6 school with wonderful students and a competent staff group. We have good conditions to jointly succeed in creating a good learning environment through close cooperation between activities and good communication. We work to benefit the well-being, learning, and development of both our students and staff. The school actively works to ensure that students and staff feel as good as possible and feel secure with the school's values. We place knowledge, security, and well-being in the forefront.

You have a teaching degree with a teaching license and have experience in assessment. Your license includes subjects such as Swedish and mathematics. We would appreciate it if you had previous experience and good knowledge of early reading and writing acquisition. You have a relational approach and clear leadership, and are a positive role model for our students. You are flexible and have good teamwork skills, are easily able to build good relationships, and collaborate with students, guardians, the work team, the school's student health team, and school leadership. The student's needs and conditions drive the interventions. Therefore, you must have a good ability to adapt teaching for the students you are responsible for.

Nykvarn Municipality is a Finnish administrative area, and we consider it an advantage if you speak Finnish.

We require a certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record and suspicion register) prior to employment.
