Support Technician at Prudencia Security

Do you want to work with modern security technology at a company where your contribution truly makes a difference? Prudencia Security is growing and is now looking for a service-oriented support technician who wants to deliver first-class support to our customers across Sweden. We are based in Uppsala, but offer the possibility of remote work for the right person.

About the role

As a support technician with us, you are the customer's first point of contact when things go wrong. You resolve cases via phone, email, and remote support, and work closely with our installers and project managers. You will quickly gain broad knowledge of camera systems, networks, and alarm solutions.

Examples of responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in camera systems and associated networks
• Manage support cases via our case management system
• Monitor customers' systems and act proactively during alarms
• Handle remote configuration, updates, and permission management
• Document solutions and contribute to our continuous improvement

We are looking for someone who

• Has experience in IT support, networking, or security technology – preferably with camera systems
• Is confident with TCP/IP, switches, routers, and basic network troubleshooting
• Speaks and writes fluently in Swedish and English
• Is self-motivated, structured, and able to take initiative
• Is solution-oriented, detail-oriented, and has a genuine interest in helping customers
• Has a valid driver's license (Category B)

It is an advantage if you have worked with any of the major camera platforms (Axis, Milestone, Hanwha, or similar), have knowledge of alarm center connections, or have experience with GDPR issues regarding camera surveillance.
