Our IT department in Uppsala is growing, and we now need to expand our staff with an administrator who will manage our warehouse and IT equipment. You will follow the Swedish Armed Forces' material processes and document primarily in our internal IT systems. You enjoy lists and spreadsheets, order, and tidiness. The work is carried out in close collaboration with our IT technicians and administrators in the department. Previous experience from the Swedish Armed Forces is not required.
The position has a clear focus on administration, but there are also many practical aspects, primarily regarding the physical handling of IT equipment.
Main Responsibilities
- Inventorize and document the department's materials
- Process orders/purchases in our internal support system PRIO
- Physical handling of goods
- Responsible for the department's vehicles, booking maintenance, etc.
- Continuous contact with other departments at the garrison
- Support during relocations and exercises
Qualifications
- Experience working with warehouses and material management
- High school education or other experience that the employer deems equivalent
- Good ability to communicate in speech and writing in both Swedish and English
- B-driver's license (manual transmission)
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong interest in technology and IT
- Counterbalance license (Forklift)
- C-driver's license
- Good proficiency in using Microsoft Office, Excel

Other
- The position is a permanent employment, with a 6-month probationary period for those not already employed by the Swedish Armed Forces. Working hours are normally 07:30 - 16:30, Monday to Friday. Flextime is applied when the work allows. Service during non-standard hours may occur. Start date and salary according to agreement.
Work Location
Uppsala (Uppsala Garrison). Training and service at other locations may occur.
