We are looking for a Service Desk Technician in Uppsala!

For a project with one of our pleasant clients in central Uppsala, we are looking for you who want to work as a service desk technician and be the first point of contact for the company's users. Do you have previous experience working in a service desk or an IT support role? You might be the right person! This is a consultancy assignment through SJR, and we are looking for someone who can start an assignment shortly.

About the Role

Responsibilities

You will be the first point of contact for our users and responsible for receiving, analyzing, and resolving incoming IT-related issues. You will work systematically with troubleshooting, prioritization, and ticket follow-up, while ensuring a high level of service.

Qualifications

You have worked in IT support for a year or a few years and have good knowledge of Windows environments, Microsoft 365, and user administration. You should have basic knowledge of networking and the ability to troubleshoot both software and hardware. Furthermore, you have experience with remote support tools and very good communication skills in Swedish and English. It is an advantage if you have previous experience with AV equipment, macOS experience, and basic knowledge of Android and Apple devices. It is also an advantage if you have experience from life science companies or other regulated industries.
