IT-Centrum is the administration for the joint IT board of Heby, Knivsta, Tierp, Älvkarleby, and Östhammar municipalities. Our area of responsibility covers IT-strategic, tactical, and operational issues. Our main task is to provide a secure and well-functioning IT environment.

We are responsible for infrastructure development, operations, administration, support, and installations within our collaborating municipalities' IT environments. As the need for competent employees grows, we are now looking for additional team members.

The position is located in Heby and often involves customer visits throughout the municipality. We are based at Heby Town Hall. Travel to all member municipalities may occur.

Responsibilities

As a 2nd Line Technician in Heby, you are responsible for troubleshooting and resolving user issues, both on-site and via remote support. You register, prioritize, and handle cases in our case management system. You also perform initial on-site checks for network issues and assist our network technicians with on-site troubleshooting.

Your social skills and ability to communicate clearly are crucial for success in this role. You are outgoing, thrive in customer-facing roles, and can plan your workday effectively to meet various needs.

Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, is a requirement, as communication is central to the role.

Requirements

• Experience in IT support, helpdesk, or similar roles (preferably 2nd line)
• Practical experience troubleshooting hardware and software in client environments
• Experience supporting environments with Microsoft Windows as well as mobile platforms like iOS and Android
• Experience with remote support and/or on-site support
• Experience with case management and documentation in ITSM systems
• Good ability to express yourself clearly in Swedish, both verbally and in writing
• Valid Category B driver's license
