Our client, Olink Proteomics, located in central Uppsala in new modern facilities, is now looking for a Laboratory Analyst for a consulting assignment. The assignment starts in early September and runs until the turn of the year, with the possibility of extension. This assignment is perfect for you who want to work in an advanced laboratory environment where quality, precision, and international collaboration are in focus.
About the role
You will work within the Analysis Services department, where the team is responsible for analyzing customer samples using Olink products in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP). The business supports customers globally and delivers high-quality analysis data – from experimental preparation to final data delivery.
In the role, you will primarily work with sample analysis in NGS laboratories, contributing to ensuring correct, reliable, and timely results.
Responsibilities
- Perform analyses according to established methods and quality requirements.
- Handle, analyze, and process laboratory samples in both small and large series.
- Document work and results according to quality management systems.
- Work independently as well as in close collaboration with colleagues and cross-functional teams.
- Contribute to quality controls and ensure data quality.
- Troubleshoot and handle deviations together with senior colleagues.
- Ensure the laboratory's order, function, and operation.
- Work with installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is meticulous, quality-conscious, and thrives in a practical laboratory role with high demands for precision.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in biotechnology, molecular biology, or a similar field.
- At least 2 years of experience in laboratory work, preferably linked to customer deliveries and time-critical flows.
- Experience with pipetting, including small volumes (≤10 µl) and multichannel pipetting.
- Basic understanding of GCP and laboratory quality systems.
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
- Ability to work flexible hours when needed.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with automated pipetting systems or robots.
- Experience with LIMS or similar systems.
- Previous work within NGS workflows.
