SJR IT is looking for you if you are seeking a new challenge in IT support and can start your new employment immediately. As a consultant with us, you will work with on-site support at one of our clients in central Uppsala.

About the role

We are looking for someone ready to take the next step in their career within IT support. The position is based on-site at one of our clients in Uppsala city center, where you will become part of a friendly team of approximately 10 employees. We value good collaboration and enjoy spending time together, both at work and outside of working hours.

Responsibilities

You will be part of a support function where you, together with your colleagues, assist customers with various technical issues. Your work will primarily take place in a Windows environment, using Active Directory to help users. You will handle cases via phone, email, and our case management system. A significant part of your work involves troubleshooting both hardware and software, largely performed via remote tools.

Suitable background

We prefer that you have worked for approximately 1–2 years in a similar IT support role and have a strong interest in both technology and service. To succeed in this role, you should have experience and knowledge of Windows and Active Directory.

Personal qualities

You have at least a high school diploma, preferably in IT or a technical field. As a person, you are service-oriented, social, communicative, and a team player. You are a good problem solver and flexible in your approach. Attention to detail and a structured work method are important traits for thriving in this role. You are fluent in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
