Are you interested in collaborating with competent and dedicated employees to ensure the Swedish Armed Forces' operation and development of command and IT systems?
FMTIS Technical and Maintenance Office Command Systems (TVK Ledsyst). The main task of TVK Ledsyst is the procurement, configuration management, and administration of the Swedish Armed Forces' command and information systems throughout their entire lifecycle, from development to decommissioning, during war, crisis, and peace. Currently, approximately 190 people work at TVK Ledsyst across seven divisions. The Swedish Armed Forces and the unit are experiencing strong growth, which presents us with new challenges and assignments.
The Logistics IT section within TVK Ledsyst is responsible for the design and maintenance of a comprehensive and complex IT product portfolio, which must also handle many new emerging needs due to the growth and development of the Swedish Armed Forces.
The section consists of a competent team including a Design Responsible Materiel System Leader (MSL), an IT Architect, and a Technical System Leader (TSL), where the TSL currently focuses on individual IT support systems. The section chief acts as the Owner Representative (ÄFR). We are now strengthening our section with a Technical Production Representative (TPF) within the Swedish Armed Forces' IT Logistics Product Portfolio.
Main Responsibilities
We are looking for you who have the ability to maintain a holistic perspective towards the goal of creating a functional, robust, secure, and user-friendly IT environment for materiel-related information handling and for the various logistics functions of the Swedish Armed Forces.
We now want to improve our delivery even further, and we have high hopes for you in the role of TPF.
In the role of TPF, you drive the modernization of your assigned area of responsibility within the Logistics IT Product Portfolio by:
- Ensuring that lifecycle planning is carried out for the IT support systems included in your assigned area, including economic planning based on status reporting.
- Preparing conditions and being responsible for the development of new systems and the implementation of major changes to existing systems.
- Reviewing and, if necessary, supplementing various types of decision-making materials, mostly related to the design of IT change management and configuration management, as support for the section's Materiel System Leader (MSL), Owner Representative (ÄFR), Technical Director, and FM CIO.
- Reviewing technical design documentation and, if necessary, writing technical documentation.
- Working together with the business operations to define the commitments the business must handle for systems/products/services.
- Being responsible for defining design requirements for new solutions.
- Leading and following up on ordered production within the framework of your own area of responsibility.
- Being responsible for structuring information and documentation related to the Logistics IT Product Portfolio.
- Ensuring that information/documents are handled correctly so that legal requirements and the Swedish Armed Forces' own regulations regarding security clearance assessments, archiving, etc., are met.
- Ensuring that orders to contractors contain relevant requirements related to this subject area.
- Conducting environmental scanning, both nationally and internationally, for central IT themes with the aim of developing competence for the role and maintaining support for FM operations.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- An academic degree in Systems Science, IT/Data. Alternatively, long experience with corresponding knowledge acquired in other ways, within or outside the Swedish Armed Forces.
- Several years of professional experience from IT operations in a leading position, e.g., IT Architect, Project Manager for digitalization projects, or Product Manager with lifecycle responsibility.
- Education or professional experience within logistics, such as supply chain management or maintenance management.
- Very good ability to communicate technical content in a pedagogical manner, as well as to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English.
- Valid driver's license (Category B).

MERITORIOUS
- Experience from working with system lifecycle planning and economic planning within FMV or FM.
- Experience from working with structuring IT product-related information and documentation, storage, archiving.
- Experience of working within a government agency.
Other:
Employment type: Permanent. The Swedish Armed Forces apply a six-month probationary period for those not already employed by the agency.

Work location: Enköping. Travel occurs to other locations in Sweden and within the NATO defense alliance.
