FMTIS Technical and Maintenance Office Management Systems (TVK Ledsyst). The main task of TVK Ledsyst is the procurement, configuration management, and administration of the Swedish Armed Forces' command and information systems throughout their entire lifecycle, from development to decommissioning, during both war, crisis, and peace. Approximately 190 people currently work at TVK Ledsyst across seven divisions. The Swedish Armed Forces and the unit are experiencing strong growth, which means we are facing new challenges and assignments.
Main Responsibilities
In the role of Technical System Leader, you will be part of a section within the Secure Systems division, which needs to grow and develop in line with the Swedish Armed Forces' increasing needs. You will work closely with end-users as well as the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV), so a willingness to solve tasks together is a very important trait. The area of responsibility is linked to technical systems for Electronic Warfare and Counter-UAS (C-UAS).
The tasks require you to have technical understanding, very good administrative skills, and the ability to oversee the entire lifecycle of the systems.
As a Technical System Leader, you will:
- Lead requirements definition so that materiel from suppliers to the Swedish Armed Forces becomes manageable for administration
- Lead the receipt of systems from suppliers to the Swedish Armed Forces
- Lead the planning, implementation, follow-up, and reporting of system status, operation, and maintenance
- Lead the review and audit of technical documentation
- Ensure that training is available for the operation and maintenance organization
- Actively work on continuous improvements of the operations
- Financial reporting and follow-up of the maintenance area
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- An academic degree in engineering/IT/systems science or another relevant field. Alternatively, other education or experience that the employer deems equivalent
- Good ability to communicate orally and in writing in Swedish and English
- Knowledge of materiel handovers within the Swedish Armed Forces or FMV
- Experience with budgeting and financial follow-up
- System security training

BENEFICIAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working within the defense industry, the Swedish Armed Forces, FMV, or another government agency
- Experience managing systems in large organizations
- Experience with electronic warfare and counter-UAS systems or intelligence and security systems
- Experience and knowledge of IT security and information security
- Methodological competence and experience with a process-oriented approach (e.g., ITIL, SAFe)
- Knowledge regarding requirements management within export control
- Knowledge of Teamcenter

Employment type: Permanent position. The Swedish Armed Forces applies a six-month probationary period for those not already employed by the agency.
