About the Logging Section on the IT Security Department

The section is part of the Swedish Armed Forces' organization for IT system management and consists of both employees and consultants within a broad competence area. The section's task is to develop, manage, and operate functional, secure, and robust IT systems to support the Swedish Armed Forces' operational capability in the field of IT security.

Main Responsibilities

You will be part of a business-close group that works closely with end-users to ensure we deliver maximum value, particularly in the area of information and IT security. The Network Specialist role is recruited to the group responsible for the design and implementation of network infrastructure. The group's main tasks are:

• Perform maintenance work to maintain network infrastructure for IT systems
• Ensure that IT systems comply with the Swedish Armed Forces' various regulations regarding accessibility and security
• Develop functions, design, and develop the network environment
• Create and manage security policies for IT systems, etc.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

• Relevant academic education, or equivalent work experience
• At least 3 years of work experience in similar tasks
• Experience in developing and managing network infrastructure and network communication in large and complex environments
• Experience working with LAN/WAN infrastructure, switches, routers, and firewalls

BENEFICIAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Knowledge of IT systems with special security requirements
• Experience with DevOps work
• Experience working with network components from, among others, Palo Alto, Cisco, and Meinberg
• Experience with the Swedish Armed Forces' Signal Protection System
• CCNP certification or equivalent
