The Management Office of Region Uppsala is part of Region Uppsala, one of the largest employers in Uppsala County. The Management Office is led by the Regional Director and consists of approximately one thousand employees. With a governing, supportive, and coordinating role, the Management Office is tasked with supporting the political leadership and administrations to ensure that political guidelines are implemented across the region's various operations. Our Operations
IT support is currently a vital part of Region Uppsala's operations. Within the IT Department, you will become a colleague to over 190 dedicated employees whose skills span the entire lifecycle of a system. The position is located in Uppsala within the IT Support unit. Here, you will have the opportunity to develop in an organization that values competence, initiative, and collaboration.
Your Role
As an IT Coordinator in the Service Desk, you will be the users' first point of contact with IT support. You will work to provide professional, efficient, and service-oriented support in a broad and complex IT environment, where you solve problems and contribute to a positive user experience.
You will primarily be responsible for:
- Receiving and handling cases via phone, email, and the support portal
- General IT support, installations, troubleshooting, and resolving IT-related issues remotely
- Providing pedagogical, professional, and service-oriented support to users
- Ensuring good documentation in the case management system
- Following established processes according to ITIL (incident and request)
- Following up and providing feedback on cases with users
- Contributing to the development of working methods, quality, and user support
Your Qualifications
- Relevant IT education or equivalent experience
- Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing
Basic knowledge in:
- Windows
- Troubleshooting clients and peripheral equipment
- Office, email, and common user services
Meritorious:
- Experience working in a service desk or technical support
- Experience with ITIL-based working methods
- Experience with client management (Windows)
- Experience with Microsoft 365
- Experience troubleshooting in large or complex IT environments
- Experience creating guides or support materials
- Experience as an incident manager or problem manager

We Offer
We offer a permanent full-time position. On-call duties may be included. Start date is by agreement. Selection takes place after the application deadline.
