About the Company
Forsmark Nuclear Power Plant is one of Sweden's largest electricity producers, generating one-sixth of the electricity consumed in Sweden. Nuclear power has very low fossil footprints and is a stable, weather-independent energy source. Since 1980, our three production units have delivered climate-smart electricity every day, year-round.
Approximately 1,200 employees work at Forsmark today, and we are part of the Vattenfall Group, which operates on a European labor market offering fantastic development opportunities for you as an employee. Our workplace is beautifully located along the pleasant Roslag coast.
UL operates buses to Forsmark with wireless internet on the routes Gävle-Forsmark and Uppsala-Forsmark, giving you the opportunity to use your commute as working time if and when work allows. Buses to and from Forsmark are adapted to the working hours of day-shift staff. You also have the option to use our remote workspaces in Gävle and Uppsala, or work from home if and when work permits.
