About the Unit and Operations
The Technical and Maintenance Office for Command Systems (TVK Ledsyst) in Enköping consists of approximately 190 employees across seven departments. The unit's main task is the management of the Swedish Armed Forces' command and information systems throughout their entire lifecycle, from development to decommissioning, during both war, crisis, and peace. The Swedish Armed Forces and the unit are experiencing strong growth, which means we are facing new challenges and assignments.
Main Responsibilities
In the role of Technical System Manager, you are part of the Signals Intelligence Section within the Secure Systems Department. This section will grow and develop in line with the Swedish Armed Forces' increasing needs. The area of responsibility related to the role covers technical systems for signals intelligence within the total defense.
Main tasks include:
- Plan, budget, and direct operations and maintenance activities
- Prepare and lead handover activities
- Support other functions in procurement and decommissioning activities
- Monitor and report on operations and maintenance activities
- Monitor and report on the status of supply logistics
- Process departure cases
- Support other functions in maintenance issues
- Coordinate the handling of technical document referrals
- Reporting within the area of responsibility
You report to the Section Chief.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- Academic education focused on IT, systems science, or equivalent, alternatively long experience with equivalent knowledge acquired in other ways, within or outside the Swedish Armed Forces.
- Experience working with signals intelligence equipment, for example as a signals intelligence officer or instructor.
- Experience in asset management governance
- Good ability to communicate orally and in writing in Swedish and English
- Valid driver's license (Category B)

MERITORIOUS
- Experience from the defense industry, the Swedish Armed Forces (FM), or the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV)
- Experience managing systems in large organizations
- Experience with budgeting and financial monitoring
- Knowledge of and experience with ILS (Integrated Logistic Support)
- System operator for one or more signals intelligence systems
- Project management experience
- Experience with integrated business systems – preferably SAP
