About the Logging Section on the IT Security Department
The section is part of the Swedish Armed Forces' organization for IT system management and consists of both employees and consultants within a broad area of competence. The section's task is to develop, manage, and operate functional, secure, and robust IT systems to support the Swedish Armed Forces' operational capability in the field of IT security.
Main Responsibilities
The Logging Section consists of several autonomous groups with different areas of responsibility, which collaborate to solve the common task. The role of DevOps Developer is recruited to the group responsible for Analysis Capability. The group's main tasks are:
- Develop and maintain complex log flows
- New development and integration of software for log data analysis
- Troubleshooting and incident management of existing solutions
Requirements
Qualifications
- Relevant academic education, or equivalent work experience
- Experience in programming (e.g., Java, Python, C++)
- Experience with Linux environments and Bash

- Knowledge of cluster technology such as Elastic, Hadoop, or Kafka
- Experience from the Swedish Armed Forces or related authorities
- Category B driver's license (manual)
