FMTIS Technical and Maintenance Office Command Systems (TVK Ledsyst). The main task of TVK Ledsyst is the procurement, configuration management, and administration of the Swedish Armed Forces' command and information systems throughout their lifecycle, from development to decommissioning, during both war, crisis, and peace. Currently, approximately 190 people work at TVK Ledsyst across seven departments. The Swedish Armed Forces and the unit are experiencing strong growth, which brings new challenges and assignments.

Main Responsibilities

In the role of Technical System Leader, you are part of a section within the Secure Systems department. The section focuses on IT and command systems within operations and is responsible for the administration, design, and new development of interoperable, secure, and robust command systems. As a Technical System Leader, your main task is to be an expert on the systems within your area of responsibility.

As a Technical System Leader, you will:

• Be responsible at an individual level for the overall coordination of operation/maintenance for assigned systems and ensuring system availability
• Be responsible for the supply of spare parts and consumables for assigned systems
• Be responsible for the accuracy of base and administrative data
• Lead the war-time placement of assigned material
• Collaborate with relevant branches of the armed forces/combat forces, the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV), maintenance providers, and suppliers
• Collaborate with other roles in the team regarding interfaces between maintenance, design, and operation/maintenance activities
• Participate as an expert in the handover of new or modified products/systems
• Procure and receive products/systems (individuals)
• Follow up on performed activities and economic outcomes
• Support procurement and decommissioning activities within the area

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

• An academic degree with a focus on IT, systems science, or equivalent. Alternatively, extensive experience with corresponding knowledge acquired in other ways, within or outside the Swedish Armed Forces
• Several years of experience working with IT, preferably in IT security, requirements specification for IT systems, and/or accreditation work
• Several years of experience in working with administration management
• Good ability to communicate verbally and in writing in Swedish and English
• Valid driver's license (Category B)

MERITORIOUS QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with command systems
• Experience from the defense industry, the Swedish Armed Forces (FM), or the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV)
• Experience in managing systems in large organizations
• Experience with budgeting and economic follow-up
• Methodological competence and experience with process-oriented working methods (e.g., ITIL, SAFe)
• Knowledge of and experience with ILS (Integrated Logistic Support)
• Experience in technical administration and/or handover and quality review of systems

Employment type: Permanent. The Swedish Armed Forces apply a six-month probationary period for those not already employed by the agency.

Work location: Enköping. Travel during work occurs.
