About the Role

Radonova was founded in 1986 in connection with the Chernobyl disaster and initially consisted of a research group of four people. Today, they have grown into global leaders in radon measurement with customers in over 80 countries and offices in large parts of the world. They have a broad business in the field, including production, analysis, support, and research, and offer radon measurement for homes, workplaces, authorities, larger facilities, and land.

In the role of Full Stack Developer, you will become part of Radonova's modern headquarters in Uppsala, working alongside approximately 30 colleagues in development, data, research, and production. You will drive and actively participate in development projects, primarily within web technologies, but also with other internal applications and systems. At Radonova, you work in a small, competent developer team where you have significant technical influence and the opportunity to work with both the user interface and server-side logic. This means you will work broadly as a full-stack developer, handling everything from frontend and UX to backend, databases, and integrations. You will be involved in all phases of projects, from idea and requirement gathering to implementation, testing, and further development. The role involves a high degree of independence and creative freedom, where initiative is appreciated and ideas can quickly become reality. Responsibilities

• Program and develop solutions within both frontend and backend
• Participate in technical discussions and contribute ideas regarding solutions and improvements
• Troubleshoot, further develop, and maintain existing systems
• Collaborate closely with the business and support colleagues with technical questions
• Work with WordPress sites and other internal systems as needed

We are looking for someone who

• Has a relevant post-secondary education in system development, computer science, or similar
• Has experience with Java or another related object-oriented language such as C#, Kotlin, or similar
• Is comfortable with React and JavaScript
• Has a strong technical interest and enjoys learning new technologies
• Has an understanding of databases, such as MS SQL
• Thrives in a smaller organization where people collaborate closely and take on significant responsibility
• Fluently speaks and writes Swedish and English, as this is required to perform the job
• Lives in Uppsala or the surrounding area, as this is important for Radonova
