Take a key role as a Senior IT Technician responsible for complex Windows and VMware environments. Here you will work closely with the business, solve technical problems, and contribute to a security-focused IT environment.

Responsibilities:

You will have significant responsibility for the maintenance and administration of Windows servers and clients, as well as the installation, configuration, and management of VMware environments. The work involves troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to Windows and VMware, as well as documenting system configurations and changes. You will collaborate closely with other departments to ensure good integration between IT systems, and you will also participate in projects and initiatives aimed at further developing and improving the IT infrastructure. A major focus will be on security awareness and adhering to established security regulations.

Competence Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience working with Windows servers and clients.
• In-depth knowledge of VMware, including installation, configuration, and administration.
• Experience working in security-focused environments.
• Good understanding of network protocols and security principles.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical abilities.
• Good communication skills in Swedish and English.

Meritorious Qualifications:

• Certifications in Windows Server and VMware (e.g., MCSE, VCP).
• Experience working in security-sensitive environments.
• Knowledge of other virtualization platforms and cloud services.
