About the Role

Vattenfall Värme is a European supplier of electricity, heating, and cooling, with operations that help our customers transition to a fossil-free life. We are a team of just over four thousand employees delivering district heating, district cooling, and steam to industries, property owners, and private individuals across four countries, with our headquarters in Solna.

In Sweden, we deliver district heating, district cooling, and steam to industries, property owners, and residential customers in fifteen municipalities. Värme Sverige is the fourth largest district heating supplier in Sweden, providing sustainable heating to approximately 200,000 Swedish households, as well as heat, cooling, and steam to industrial customers. We are particularly proud that our main product, district heating, plays a vital role in the new circular society.

The Grid Metering & Customer Solutions group is responsible for collecting metering data for district heating, district cooling, and steam, as well as performing customer-facing services for Vattenfall Värme. As a Metering Data Analyst, you will be offered a varied and independent role with a focus on building strong customer relationships. You will be part of a highly cohesive team working towards common goals.

Vattenfall Värme is now looking for a Metering Data Analyst who wants to help shape tomorrow's climate-smart society. We are looking for someone early in their career who wishes to develop within the energy and technology sectors.

In this role, you will work at the intersection of technology, data, and customers, ensuring and developing the quality of our metering data and customer-facing solutions. You will become part of a team responsible for ensuring our customers receive accurate energy data and a great customer experience.

By understanding customers' energy usage and identifying potential for improvement, you can also help customers use their district heating more efficiently. The role gives you the opportunity to turn analyses into concrete insights that create both customer value and energy efficiency.

You will collaborate closely with colleagues in IT, customer service, and sales to solve problems and develop our ways of working. The work is varied and provides a solid foundation for development in both technology and energy.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Analyzing and quality-assuring metering data
  • Troubleshooting discrepancies and contributing to problem-solving
  • Collaborating with service technicians, sales, IT, and customer service
  • Contributing to improvements in processes and working methods
  • Having knowledge of and staying updated on the Metering Act
  • Participating in development initiatives related to digitalization and the energy transition

Requirements

We believe you have/are:

  • An engineering degree
  • A recent graduate or with some years of experience
  • An interest in technology, data, and energy issues
  • Analytical and enjoy solving problems
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.

As a person, you are structured, solution-oriented, and communicative. In this role, you have great opportunities to develop as we work with many varied tasks in a dynamic environment with a lot of problem-solving. The position suits you if you work independently, are driven, and enjoy working towards set goals. A good ability to collaborate with others and be flexible when needed is an important part of this role.
