Welcome to the Employment and Integration Unit (AMI) in Ludvika Municipality! Our mission in the labor market sector is to support the residents of Ludvika Municipality who need guidance on their path to self-sufficiency through work or studies. To meet tomorrow's challenges, we are now looking for a dedicated employee who wants to make a difference in an ESF-funded collaboration project called "Progresso". The overall goal of the project is for participating individuals to make a step forward towards the labor market by being offered various measures, which can take place in parallel and flexibly, based on each individual's needs.

The Workplace

Organizationally, AMI is part of the Individual and Family Care (IFO) area within the Social and Education Administration. Within IFO, in addition to AMI, there are also the Support and Social Services Unit, the Outpatient Care Unit, the Investigation Unit, and the Foster Care and Family Law Unit.

Job Responsibilities

The main responsibilities consist of continuously mentoring and coaching participants registered in the project to strengthen them in the process of moving towards the labor market.

You will meet economically vulnerable people who are outside the labor market and who, due to various difficulties, need individually tailored support. The target group includes both men and women born abroad and in Sweden, but a prioritized group is women born abroad.

The goal is to support the individual in approaching the labor market and, in the long term, becoming self-sufficient through a coaching and motivating approach. Through individually tailored support, health-promoting measures, language development, and labor market knowledge, we create conditions for stepping forward. Steps along the way could include motivational conversations, workplace visits, matching the participant to a practicum placement, participation in group activities, and much more. You will work with individuals both one-on-one through individual conversations and in groups with various activities.

Contact and cooperation with the local business community is an important part of the job responsibilities, which means we are looking for you who have the ability to create and maintain collaborations. In your role, you will also collaborate closely with our internal and external partners, such as the Swedish Public Employment Service, educational providers, the Support and Social Services Unit, and other municipal operations.

You will be part of a team where we collaborate closely to achieve our goals. As a project employee in Progresso, you will also collaborate with other project partners in Dalarna.

Qualifications

• Relevant post-secondary education, for example in social work, behavioral science, or equivalent.
• Practical experience working with labor market issues, guidance, or similar assignments, as well as experience working with the target group.
• Practical experience in adapting, planning, and conducting group-based activities.
• Good administrative and communication skills, as well as experience documenting in digital operational systems.
• Ability to work independently, structured, and solution-focused.
• Category B driver's license (manual transmission).
• Good spoken and written Swedish.

• It is meritorious to have education in: BIP, Solution-Focused/MI, SE/IPS, and 7TJUGO.

We are looking for you who take responsibility for your assignment, take initiative, and drive processes forward. Since a large part of the work involves meetings and conversations with people, we assume that you, as a person, are secure in yourself, meet people with engagement and curiosity, and have the ability to meet people based on their conditions. Since you meet people from many different backgrounds, cultures, and often vulnerable situations, it is important to treat every individual with respect.

You have a flexible working style with experience in switching focus quickly when necessary. You are creative and solution-focused. Our mission is based on collaboration, so we assume that you enjoy creating good relationships and collaborations. The work also includes continuous documentation, which means that precision and structure are important. You need to be able to express yourself very well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and have good computer skills.
