Job Responsibilities

Are you one of those who desire a meaningful, varied, and fun job working with children? Then the role of a substitute teacher in preschool and school might be for you!

As a substitute, you will help create joyful, educational, and safe environments for all children and students. You will gain knowledge and experience from the various operations within the School Administration, which can provide a good foundation for those considering further studies in the field.

Working as a substitute means you can step in to work at one of our preschools or schools with short notice, for shorter or longer assignments. This can be combined with studies or other employment.

You choose yourself which days and times you want to be available for work. Through the booking tool Time Care Pool, you are booked for work via SMS. To ensure continuity in our operations, we see that you can work at least three days a week. Working hours vary but range between 06:30–18:00. You will never work more than 8 hours per day.

Qualifications

To work as a substitute in school and preschool with us, you need:

• A valid police record (certificate of conduct).
• The ability to understand, speak, read, and write Swedish.
• Basic computer skills.
• A completed upper secondary education (high school diploma).
• Be at least 18 years old.

It is meritorious if you are educated or studying to be a childcare worker, teacher, preschool teacher, or pedagogue in after-school centers. Experience in the field is also meritorious.

Personally, you show respect and consideration for those you meet in your professional role and adapt your communication to the recipient, target group, and situation. You listen to others to understand their needs and have the ability to work together with others to perform tasks and achieve goals. Finally, you take responsibility for your and shared tasks with the users' best interests in focus.
