1 position(s).

Job Responsibilities

As a Support Assistant, you work to support the user in their daily life by creating a comprehensible, manageable, and meaningful existence, as well as working preventively and systematically. You provide professional support and strengthen each individual's self-esteem and belief in their own abilities—all work is based on the user's individually created implementation plan.

You are involved in establishing and/or maintaining social networks. Your role also involves supporting users in developing their communication skills and sense of belonging, as well as providing support in social activities, both individually and in groups. The goal is to support full participation in society based on each person's individual wishes.

You provide support in all common daily tasks such as planning, personal hygiene, clothing care, laundry, cleaning, diet, cooking, shopping, finances, medication, social training, culture, and leisure.

You belong to a work group with support assistants and support pedagogues. You work with social documentation in the Treserva documentation system and continuously follow up and revise implementation plans. We work with operation-adapted and flexible schedules. The need is continuously adapted to the operational needs, which means you need to be prepared to work days, evenings, weekends, and on-call sleeping duty. We plan together with an adjacent unit.

We value your ideas and engagement, and together we create conditions for development and an independent life for our users.

Does this sound like something for you? Apply today and become part of our fantastic team!

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

  • Have education as a support assistant, assistant nurse, or other education that the employer deems equivalent.
  • Have experience working with people with intellectual and psychiatric disabilities.
  • Have knowledge and experience within psychiatry, addiction, suicide, and self-harm behavior.
  • Have knowledge within low-affective handling (LAB), clear pedagogy, and AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication).
  • Have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing.

It is meritorious if you have experience working with Timecare and Treserva.

As a support assistant, you show respect and consideration for those you meet in your professional role. You have an open and positive attitude as you base your actions on the user's needs. You have interest, willingness, and ability to help others, and you strive to present solutions. In your work, it is important that you act independently based on what the situation requires without needing support from others. It is also important that you have the ability to work together with others to perform tasks and achieve goals. You understand the common mission, act accordingly, and contribute to the whole.

Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

Selection takes place continuously. Welcome with your application!
